About Women AI Labs

Women of AI Innovation Initiative is a Chicago-born global public charity advancing fair, trusted, human-centered AI. Our mission focuses on education, policy, human-centered design, AI governance, and gender bias remediation because algorithmic inequity already impacts nearly half of humanity — while Large Language Models continue scaling harm faster than traditional systems can correct it. Moreover, no single company, university, government, or AI vendor can solve this challenge alone. Instead, lasting progress requires collaboration across technology, healthcare, cybersecurity, education, policy, research, workforce development, and community leadership. Inspired by Chicago’s legacy of innovation and the call for human-centered governance in Pope Leo XIV’s Magnifica Humanitas, this movement brings together global experts, local leaders, universities, nonprofits, students, researchers, and corporations to build AI systems that are transparent, inclusive, accountable, and trusted. Women AI Labs Gender Bias Remediation model incorporates National and United National Global organizations collaboration to assess, govern, measure, and reduce ethical AI risk, bias, and model drift through innovation labs, policy forums, research, mentorship, governance workshops, and hackathons. No ethical government industry or CX Service Delivery could tolerate a Major Systemic Incident that would take 123 years to solve. We have the talent, the practice and the experience. The problem existed since the beginning of data, as we fixed systems quickly through collaboration for Y2K, we must also fix, this bigger algorithmic bias impacting 49% of humanity within the next five years — not 123 years. As President Barack Obama reminds the world: “Out of many, we are one.” HDI Chicagoland in partnership with Women of AI Innovation Initiative and Women AI Labs begin June 2026 through March 8, 2027 to collaborate, celebrate and recognize the methods, and success method oriented resolve.
