Zero Emission Services welcomed Lukas Irazusta Gorostidi as its new Project Engineer.

ZES introduces a new energy system for making inland shipping more sustainable. ZES will realize this with emission-free navigation infrastructure that is acccessible to all parties involved. Clean, climate-neutral and ready to compete with fossil fuels. ZES offers a complete range of products and services, based on interchangeable battery containers charged with renewable power, charging stations, technical support and an innovative payment concept for ship owners. The shares of ZES are held by four companies: supplier of emission-free transportation ecosystems Ebusco, ING, maritime technology company Wärtsilä and the Port of Rotterdam Authority. The Ministry of Infrastructure & Water Management is supporting this initiative together with the Province of South Holland.
