Guidant BioTherapeutics
Navigated delivery for safer and more effective therapeutics
About Guidant BioTherapeutics
Guidant BioTherapeutics has a clinically-validated proprietary Navigated Delivery(™) platform on which it has built a robust product pipeline for oncology and immune/inflammatory diseases. Our core innovation, the FHAB (Fully Human Albumin-Binding) antibody fragment, binds to and "hitch-hikes" on human serum albumin which is actively for transported and accumulated in cancer and inflammed tissues. The FHAB construct increases serum half-life, improved tumor penetration and retention are some benefits. We have shown clinical proof of a 10x increase in serum half-life, improved antitumor activity with no significant adverse events with a payload of immune-modulating cytokines on the FHAB. Our FHAB platform has been extended to dual inhibitors for immune/inflammatory disease and to a next generation ADC product pipeline where we seek to provide partner companies dual antibodies and dual toxins. Our pipeline: 1. GDT-001 (IL12-FHAB) in solid tumors, sarcomas - in partnering discussions 2. GDT-002 (IL12-FHAB-IL15): Clinic-ready, first-in-class dual-cytokine candidate for bladder cancer and solid tumors 3. GDT-003 (IL12-FHAB-IL18): Preclinical, first-in-class dual-cytokine candidate for solid tumors 4. GDT-101 (HER2+MMAE+Topo1): Preclinical ADC candidate for solid tumors Our plug-and-play modular platform is compatible with many biologic drug classes, including interleukins, growth factors, cytokines, peptides, antibodies and vaccines, making it uniquely positioned for co-development and licensing. Mission: To develop Navigated Therapies™ that reach and accumulate in target tissue precisely, giving patients safer and more effective treatments. Guidant BioTherapeutics is actively engaging with potential partners and licensees who wish to leverage our proprietary FHAB navigated-delivery™ platform to enhance the effectiveness or safety profile of their therapeutics or license in our breakthrough assets.
