The ECSPR - European Crowdfunding Service Providers Regulation - adopted in 2020 and fully applicable since 2023, allows every European to invest in startups, which was previously limited to the wealthy elite and fragmented across 27 national regimes. Now, a single license lets platforms operate across the entire EU, and thousands of everyday investors put hundreds of millions of euros into startups every year. Despite that, there is still no research and analytics solution similar to the public market (e.g., Morningstar, Bloomberg, SeekingAlpha, The Motley Fool) to empower individuals to make informed investment decisions. Europe has no pan-European data authority. Kingscrowd Europe aims to empower everyone to invest in startups confidently through a suite of products including research, ratings, data analytics, founder interviews, and financial products. Kingscrowd Europe collects hundreds of data points on every startup that raises money online across the EU - normalised from ECSPR regulatory filings and Key Investment Information Sheets - and our proven algorithm provides a quantitative assessment of the startup's investment potential.
