Founded in 2023, Modern Business Development (or Modern BD) serves to fill the niche market of subcontractors who both need Business Development services but might not be ready to financially invest in a full-time Director of BD. Cassie Wells (CEO/ Principal) has seen firsthand the hesitancy of hiring Business Development professionals. It’s scary. But it doesn’t have to be. With Modern BD as your Business Development partner, you can gain access to an extensive network, strategize with a proven sales leader and save money in the process. In 2025 we launched a trust-building training series called Business Relationship Gardening, focused on helping Business Development and Sales professionals, as well as Project Managers, develop skills to build professional relationships.
