Austin Water is recruiting a high-impact Assistant Director for Environmental, Development, and Planning Services.

Today, we serve more than 1 million people across 544 square miles in the Austin metropolitan area. Austin Water’s mission is to provide water for people and care for the environment, and this commitment shapes everything we do. Our integrated water resource plan, Water Forward, outlines a strategy to keep our community prepared for the next 100 years, accounting for the demands of population growth, drought and climate change scenarios. Our Wildland Conservation Division manages more than 49,000 acres of public land, protecting endangered species and safeguarding the quality of our source water.
