DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) welcomed Alejandro Ramirez as an intern for the fall semester at DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership and Center for Nonprofit and NGO Studies at Northern Illinois University.

The goal of DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) is to improve living standards and create economic opportunities for DeKalb County, Illinois. Since its inception in 1987, the DCEDC has overseen over $1.6 billion in business and industrial development. These projects expanded and diversified the county's tax base while adding over 10,000 jobs and helping increase resident employment by over 20,000.
